Organic Or NOT
I read an article yesterday stating that organic food has no health benefits at all. That may be it helps the environment but, that is it.
I have seen this type of point and counterpoint a lot in my experience working with food.
The heated GMO debate goes round and round.
The nutrition industry peddles what it wants as health and, when I am in a convenience store in the states, it is hard to find something not laced with some form of sugar.
I belive it comes down to categories of intent.
If you are looking for health eat food that has not been manufactured.
The other piece of the puzzle is how do your choices of food affect the greater good.
That takes personal reflection, to define what you stand for, knowledge to understand how things are made and sacrifice to adhere to your set of principles.
Health will follow the action.
