I dream of the future in the present.

I brood over the past in the present.

But I aspire to live in just the present.

I act like the impulsive materialist.

I think like the philosophical pragmatist.

But I believe myself to be the idealist.

I tirelessly plan each minute of my day,

I stubbornly make things happen,

But I feel it’s the universe that rules me.

I tie myself with numerous rules and regimes,

I overlap binding social chains on my soul,

But deep inside

I just want to be free.

I WANT TO BE FREE!
