My Experiences In Miami

I have a story that will make you believe in God…

When I was about 10 years old, I saw what I think was an angel. I looked out my bedroom window one night, on the second story of my parents home. Over my neighbors home was a beam of light coming out of the sky. I saw a woman wearing a long white robe with no sash floating up into the sky in the beam of light. She had blonde hair and the most peaceful smile on her face. Her hands were closed in a prayer form. When she was about halfway up she looked at me and winked! I ran to get my mom but when I got back to the window she was gone along with the light.

A life changing event happened to me years later that made me unashamed to tell people this story. The response hasn’t always been positive. People often think I’m lying, including my own best friend (we are still best friends though). This is when I began going to Miami with a sign saying “I saw an angel when I was little. God is real. Jesus is your salvation”. Sharing my story in the public is how I came to know many more people who have had similar experiences. I’ve shared a few of them below.

Aaron was a homeless man who walked across the country to get to Miami Florida. He had just gotten out of jail for a crime he did not commit. He was sad and not religious but his story went like this. He was suicidal from events in his life. One night he had a dream he was looking in the mirror. Suddenly his face changed and grew hair and he saw Jesus looking back at him. Jesus said don’t kill yourself as you don’t know what you are doing. Aaron said he didn’t believe it. After a number of failed suicide attempts he took a shotgun and some shells to his room at his parents house. He loaded the gun and put the barrel in his mouth. He pulled the trigger and the gun didn’t fire. The shell was a dud. He tried it again and it was a dud. He tried it one last time and it was another dud. He then gave up and decided to walk across the country to straighten out. I believe he was from the west coast somewhere.

There was a woman who I met who had a story of an angel she believes that saved her from being raped. She lived in Africa at one point with her parents. She was going for a run when a man grabbed her and was going to rape her. She cried out “God help me”. Right then, the rapist looked up and ran away screaming. She believes the man saw her guardian angel above her. She was happy and religious I believe.

I met a man who said one day when he was a little child he was sitting in his living room with his brother when Jesus appeared. He floated in the air with his hands out and you could see the holes in his hands and feet. He then floated into his parents room. Later on he prayed to God and asked him if he could see the devil. One night after that, he was in his room going to sleep when God showed him the devil. It had olive green skin, sores all over it’s skin, and had this evil look in its eyes. A look he described as extremely dark and evil. He was afraid to tell me his story at first.

I met a homeless man named David who made palm branch art and sold fresh coconut juice. We talked about religion for a bit and he told me his religious experience. When he was 17 he died in a car accident. He saw the light and felt himself being lifted to heaven. He said to God “I am your servant, I worship you, but please do not take me today”. Suddenly he woke up from a 3 day coma. He later went on to have a family and a good life, supposedly. That ended when his whole family died in a car accident, his wife and child. He decided to walk across the country from California. He had been homeless for many years but was very happy.

I met an old woman who was interested in my story of seeing an angel. She said she too had seen an angel. One night as she battled anxiety over some issues in her life she went to sleep. She woke up during the night and saw an angel praying over her bed. She said that she often prays and thanks the angels.

I met a contractor working at my dad’s house. We started talking about faith and he told me a miracle story he had. His son was 21 years old and dying of the flu. The virus had attacked his spine and paralyzed him. He spent 18 months in the hospital before he died. Before he died his father the contractor, had a dream that the nurse was knocking on his door and told him his son was moving. The father thought that meant his son could move his legs again and the virus was leaving him. He sprang up out of his sleep to find the nurse really was knocking on his door. She told him his son was not breathing however. His father thinks that maybe his son was trying to tell him that he was moving on to the next life. The father walked outside and asked God why he took his son away. He says he wasn’t angry but he was probably very sorrowful. He said God did not respond audibly but he felt the answer saying “he was my son before he was yours”.
