The Lakers VS The NBA

We live in interesting times, KD is giving interviews while injured, Steph Curry is looking like a MVP contender in the preseason with 40 odd points in 25+ minutes in one game. Kyrie just injured his face again, in China, against the Lakers, and PG13 won’t be starting until the middle of the regular season. Then comes the Lakers looking “like a fantasy team” as D’Angelo Russell is quoted saying about Lebron and AD. Now Anthony Davis has a sprained thumb and just adds to the continuous nick-nack injuries that began since he started in the NBA. Lebron James is looking like the King of the Court, while everyone hails Kawhi Leonard as the best player in the World at the moment. The first game for the Lakers are against the Clippers on October 22nd @ 10:30pm on TNT. This first game will show right away how dominant each team will be right out of the gate. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lakers have a slow start to the season, but start clicking after 21 games. So far in the past 3 preseason games the Lebron and AD pick and roll has been unstoppable, and with McGee and Howard rebounding and having a large paint presence, they just need to make sure the rest of the players take care of the 3 pointers. It’s evident that if the team stays healthy especially Lebron and AD, then they should reach a top 3 team in the playoff rankings. IMO Danny Green and Avery Bradley are the 2 players that can elevate the teams perimeter defense and shooting to keep the lanes open for Lebron, and also not having to guard the best players on the opposing teams.

The 76ers and the Bucks look like the will wrap up the East but the West is definitely up to grabs. Who are your top 3 teams in the East and West?
