Do You Stand for Ukraine or Who Lost the War?

If Ukraine lost the war, we will support Ukraine. If Russia lost the war, we will support Russia.

I’m not saying that Russia was right and Ukraine was wrong, or vice versa. But, when we look at the conflict, we always pick the weak side. Simply because we care about the people who lost the war.

We care doesn’t mean that we can pick one side over the other, but we have to control our emotions, so we don’t participate to make the worst scenario in the near future.

Our emotion always makes us scroll through social media, and comment on every post or video about the topic.

But, commenting on war, and picking a side is a big “NO”

If you aren’t citizens of the countries, but you have opinions about the conflict, please don’t just comment and pretend like you know everything.

A couple of days ago, one of a party in my country commented on Twitter about the Russian government in the local language. And, after a couple of hours, the Russian media warned the tweet, in the local language of my country.

Russia knows which country with citizens who hate them most.

If we keep commenting about their conflict, you just make everything worst, because they care about our opinions, and they want us to love them, not hate them.

The war between Russia and Ukraine reminds me of a conflict in my country in the past.

I live in Indonesia, and we had a conflict with our neighbour Malaysia. Indonesia was invaded by Dutch, and Malaysia was invaded by the British.

Under the colonization, Indonesia and Malaysia built a great relationship and had a dream to make one nation-state, just like Uni Soviet.

During World War II, the Dutch and British are busy with their homeland, and Japan comes to invade all of the Asia Pacific.

In a short period of time, Indonesia and Malaysia became one family again after they got separated by the Dutch and British.
