𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬!

As a result of your hard work, we are able to report wonderful news! The outlook for the salvation of the SS-NovaDAO star system now appears promising — hope is not lost! You have completed Mission 1 successfully, and the blueprints for the Gauntlet have been discovered. While this is the outcome we had hoped for, it is only the start of the journey to save SS-NovaDAO and provide Novarians a new home. Now that the blueprints for the Gauntlet have been secured, it is up to the community to begin to construct the Gauntlet!

Novarians — we have a great year ahead of us!

We are thankful to have such a passionate, supportive community who has thrusted us beyond 7.5k members in such a short period of time. As we have grown so quickly, we want to apologize for the confusion caused by a lack of clarity in our announcements as we have rolled out our whitelisting process. We really value the input from our community and are committed to improving our communication with all of you. Please continue to share your constructive thoughts and concerns to improve this project in #community-ideas. We recognize the drive many of you have demonstrated to grow this project into a true DAO, and we hope you’ll continue to help us along the way.

We have been reflecting on the pilot of our Mission 1 competition for the initial 40 spots last week, and after much consideration, along with the helpful input from our community, we have decided to take a step back from our previous approach and have made some changes to how participants will qualify. Our desire is to ensure a fair and reasonable experience for everybody involved, one that upholds our members who are closely aligned with our vision of building the world’s first protocol owned chain.

First, we want to be clear that everybody who is already on the whitelist will remain on the whitelist. As of this announcement, applicants for the whitelist will be evaluated on both completion of provided missions as well as general community participation in the different areas of the discord. We want to emphasize the quality of your contributions rather than the quantity to better reward those who are aligned with the long term goals of our DAO.

A summary of the changes being made:

The chain reaction within SS-NovaDAO appears to be accelerating… Novarians, we must make haste! There are many ways to contribute to Mission 2, including, but not limited to, the following:

These are just a few ideas. Feel free to do all of these things or just focus on one of them. You can provide anything of value that will improve our project. We will reward those of you that contribute to our community and the Cosmos ecosystem, so be creative and do your best, Novarians! Please note that we recognize that many of you have already been contributing in these channels, and as such, your prior work will definitely be considered during this process.

To help us observe these great contributions, members with the roles outlined below have been assigned to monitor the various channels in our discord and to note who is participating in the improvement of our community and contributing quality ideas and creations.

𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃 has recognized that the approach that seems most promising, decentralization, should be utilized in our pursuit of Mission 2. Thus, the Gauntlet shall be constructed by 5 main Teams: the Admirals, the Creators, the Explorers, the Navigators, and the Scientists. These mighty heroes will lead us on our grand expedition to #savethecosmos.

As your contributions to our community are noted, you may be invited to join a team that focuses on a specific aspect of developing and growing the community, and you may receive a role that denotes you are a member of that team. Please note that receiving a role does *NOT* mean you are whitelisted, but does mean you are on the right track and is meant to both recognize and encourage you to continue to contribute high-quality work. The purpose of the creation of these teams is to focus and coordinate our efforts in building for the long term; the teams will form the foundation that supports the long term mission of NovaDAO after our launch.
